In Room 10 we have been learning how the Sun and the Moon affect us on Earth. We have learned that:
- the moon takes 29 and 1/3 days to make one orbit around the Earth.
- it takes the Earth 365.24 days to orbit around the Sun.
- it takes 24 hours for the Earth to rotate once on its axis
We had a play with balls to show how the Earth, Sun and Moon are related.
