Kade got his certificate for being an amazing supporter to his little buddy on the playground, Fegus was able to try lots of new things and take some great risks. Congratulations to Lalita and Hayden from Room 10 for getting Fair Play Awards. Lalita got hers for making good decisions during wet lunch times and Hayden got his for picking up rubbish!!!! Way to go guys, keep showing LSS how awesome Room 10 is!!!!!

Buddy Time
Today Room 10 went to visit Room 1. First, we helped our little buddies with a very important job. We had to glue our buddies amazing art work onto black paper. After we made sure that was perfect we took our little buddies out to the playground to help them take sensible risks and try something new. We had a great time helping you today!!!! Thanks for having us little buddies!!!!!!!

WALT: Take Risks
We have been discussing the different risks that we can take in school. We have looked at the different events that are coming up and decided on a risk that we can personally take. A lot of us have picked speaking in public as this is definitely stepping out of our comfort zone. Our risks will be kept on our wall for everyone to see, let us know what you think.

Congratulations to Lily B and Jarrod for getting certificates in Team Time today. Lily is Room 10's Student of the week because she is a great role model to the Junior children at Lytton Street School. Jarrod got the Habit of Mind award this week for showing persistence to create quality work.

Jump Rope For Heart
Today the Senior Stars students took part in jump rope for heart. The children took part in 4 different events: single rope, pairs skipping, relays and long rope. We had a great time even though we were a little puffed at the end. Check out how good we are at skipping!

PrEP Market Day
Well Market Day finally arrived today, and what a day it has been!!!!!!! Thank you for all of the support from parents who came to visit today! It was great to see you supporting all of the work you're children have done over the past 6 weeks! The children learned so much about working in the 'real world', from getting CV's and covering letters together to doing Market Research and producing a product or service. Many children have shown great leadership and orginisational skills and Lytton Street School are very proud of you!
Keep checking back to see some photos and videos of the amazing day we had......but now it's time to put our feet up and relax.

Athletics Champs
After a long wait we finally found out the LSS athletics champions! Well done to Sarah who is the overall Year 6 girl champion. Sarah got first in shotput, high jump and sprints. Also, well done to Lily M who is the overall 3rd Year 5 girl. Lily got first in shotput, second in sprints and third in long jump.
