2011

I have been in room 10 for 2 years. My best memory is going to camp last year because it was like a holiday and we did lots of outdoor things. I'm looking forward to next year because I'm going to Intermediate. I like intermediate because they have more options. This year I enjoyed PREP because we got our own money which meant we could buy products. I'm looking forward to the Christmas holidays because normally we go to Foxton beach.

Inter-school Cross Country

Congratulations to Lily M, Sarah and Hayden for making it into the inter-school cross country team. You have all worked so hard to get here, Room 10 hope you make it into the competing team!!!!

Whole School Assembly

Congratulations to Lalita and Hayden from Room 10 for getting Fair Play Awards. Lalita got hers for making good decisions during wet lunch times and Hayden got his for picking up rubbish!!!! Way to go guys, keep showing LSS how awesome Room 10 is!!!!!

Production

Last week the whole school was involved in our amazing production, Chocolate Fish, Gumboots and Number 8 Wire. It was a variety show that showcased kiwiana at its best. Our class item was a dance to the gumboot song. Here are some of the photos from the show.

Crazy camp

On Wednesday the 5 of May,the year 5\6 from Lytton Street School went to Forest Lakes camp, north of Otaki. At camp we were learnig to developself confidence when faced with new challenges. A challenge that I over came was thewater slide.  Afterwards I felt very very proud of myself. My favourirte part of camp was the mudslide.

Forest Lakes 2010

In Room 10 we have been learning to inform others. We have done this by writing captions for some of our camp photos. We hope you enjoy them :)

Slippery Slidey: Taylah slides down the wet slidey water slide at Forest Lakes, "Ahh, that's cold!" she screamed as she flies down.

Boom: Boom! Taylah went flying from the water slide and Taylah nearly did a half back flip at Forest Lakes Camp.

Zoom: Three weeks ago something came zooming down the mudslide, it was Gordon at Forest Lakes. SPLASH, mud went all over the place!

Wow: Gordon went zooming down the mud slide he went so fast that he went into the stinky mud at Forest Lakes.
