Michael
I have really enjoyed being at Lytton Street School because of all of the excellent teachers and all the great opportunities LSS has given me. When I first came to Lytton Street School I dreaded coming but there were such great people and teachers and then I always wanted to come to school from that day forward. I'm exited about Intermediate because of all the great opportunities they will have for me at Intermediate. I have learned lot of brilliant techniques of how to times, plus, subtract, and to write, read, and draw. Over all I am proud of how over all my school years my skills have grown vastly throughout out my schooling

LSS Speech Finals
Well done to Lily B and Michael for a wonderful effort at the Lytton Street School speech finals. It is a hard job to stand in front of a group of people and present your speech confidently. Room 10 is very proud of you and how well you did. Check out their speeches from Tuesday night!

WALT write descriptive sanpshots of a moment in time
Today in writing we discussed the way felt, what we saw, smelt and heard when we were waiting to say our Mihi at the Marae. This will help us to write our snapshot with lots of detail. For a lot of us this was our big risk we were taking and for most of us emotions were running high.
Here is our brain bubble of ideas.

Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori
This week is Maori Language week. To celebrate we have been practicing our loopy game in Te Reo. This is what we did today!!!!!!!!!
Taking Risks with Room 1!
We supported our buddies by comforting them and telling them that they were doing well.
We helped them over come their fears and help them to accomplish things that they never thought that they could do. It was important job because we needed to make sure that they felt confident in themselves we also needed to make sure that didn't fall. We learned that if you try and try again you can do stuff that you thought you could do!!
