Welcome to Term Four!!!!

Welcome back to the last term of the year. As usual we have a very busy term in front of us. To the Year 6's this is your last term at Lytton Street so make the most of the time you have.

This term we have lots of exciting things happening. We will be looking at the 70's and the differences between then and now, we will be learning to play cooperative games on the playground, making electronic board games with the Year 5's, practicing for the Year 6 social and lots of other things......There may even be some special visitors along the way!!

Room 10's New Toy

We got a pretty new toy in Room 10........... a new iPad!!!!! We have been using it during reading time to play reading games, listen to books and leave comments on other classes blogs. Michael and Kade were using it today to check up on what the rest of Lytton Street is up to!

2011 Athletics Champ

Room 10 is very proud of Sarah, who today got the Girls' Athletics Championship Cup!!!!!! Ka Pai Sarah!!!!!

Duffy Assembly

Today we had a visitor from Duffy, Jo Holley. She has worked on TV shows like The Crowd Goes Wild, Squirt, Studio 2 and has been in lots of adds! She came to deliver us our books.

DARE Trip

Today the Senior Stars went on a trip to celebrate the end of our DARE trip. In DARE we learned about choices and consequences, the effects of drugs, how to resist peer pressure and a lot of other things to help us make good choices. Today we went to see the Smurfs Movie and then we went to the pools. Thanks for everyone's help today!!!!!

Swimming

On Friday we had our last session of swimming for 2011. We had some sharing time of what we had learned and then we were allowed some free time. Watch the video of us sharing what we have learned this term.
